The Challenge:
Mindjet is the worlds leading personal productivity and collaboration solution. Their software and web-based products have enabled individuals and businesses to save time, improve business processes and drive innovation.
While the internal teams at Mindjet were best in class, they have continually needed to add talent to those teams to support a rapidly growing client base and to further enhance their revolutionary products.
Finding those people was costly due to other companies pulling for their attention and the need to use outside agencies to increase their candidate pool.
As a result, bringing in a solution that would attract, rank, and organize candidates was of upmost importance.
The Solution
Mindjet selected the Corporate Enterprise Edition of COMPAS over competing products from vendors such as Taleo and Jobvite.
The COMPAS platform immediately gave them a cost efficient and user friendly solution that allowed recruiters and managers to collaborate on their open positions and broadcast them to the most popular job aggregators and social networks in the world.
With the same amount of recruiters but a significantly larger candidate pool, they chose to use COMPAS’ screening and assessment technology to rank candidates and track where they came from.
Once COMPAS was chosen, the system along with a customized careers site was up and running in 2 days.
The Result:
Since the Go Live date of COMPAS, Mindjet has been able to tap the network of their internal employees to fill everything from entry to executive level openings.
The custom screening and assessment cut the average time to fill in half by opening up the flood gates for applications, while automatically narrowing candidate pools down to the best matches.
As the ability to attract talent became very obvious with COMPAS, so did the importance of being able to organize talent for future positions. Before even posting new openings, COMPAS gave Mindjet recruiters automated suggestions on candidates residing in their private database.
The results have been a huge cost savings. Mindjet was able to cut off their need for outside recruiting assistance, cut their time to fill in half, and reduce number of competitive bids on talent.
Free monthly enhancements and full real-time reporting capabilities gave visibility for management, which has been the icing on the cake.
