52 Limited is located at the intersection of left brain and right brain, representing both creative and the more cerebral thinkers and strategists of the broader communications industry. What began as Portland’s only locally owned and operated full-service staffing firm for the creative industry, has grown over the years to now provide a range of creative resources from talent staffing, placement and recruitment, to an eclectic suite of creative services. 52 Limited operates out of Portland and New York City.
The Situation:
52 Limited’s flagship office in Portland, Oregon was growing rapidly with a planned expansion underway to establish a presence on the East Coast in New York City. 52 Limited’s ability to focus on a solution that can keep up with its growth was dyer to execute on their expansion plans.
The Challenge:
As 52 Limited’s business was expanding, several technological and process related challenges had come up. Since the organization's focus was in the creative space, the natural corporate computing platform was Mac’s. Their current recruiting platform did not support Safari or Mac’s operating system, forcing 52 Limited to work in parallels. Their platform also had zero email and calendaring integration with their Gmail Business Edition account. With the projected growth of the organization, this was clearly going to cause challenges with collaboration.
The Response:
52 Limited selected COMPAS Technology to implement the COMPAS for Staffing Enterprise Edition. Through a careful evaluation process, the leadership at 52 Limited came to the realization that the COMPAS product and the team’s ability to implement and train was best in class. The team from COMPAS arrived onsite in Portland, Oregon to migrate the data from their old platform to COMPAS, setup and configure the Quickbooks integration with COMPAS, and train the team on the application.
The Result:
